Free Skate Health Check @ Billys

Hi guys,
Alan is offering a free skate health check on Saturday @ Billys in preparation for Sundays marathon session. Just pop in and Al will give your skates the once over. If you need a bit of lube on the bearings there will be a nominal charge of 50p but any adjustments etc will be free.
Damn we're too good to you ;)

would love to get my skates MOTed before the tourny- will attempt to bring them in if i can find time to remove them from my feet!!

also do we know what the floor will be like? i only have those red wheels - should i get some pushers when i get paid??

From 3pm Thursday until you leave for Tournament, Alan will be available for skate doctoring and general tinkering, try and get in if you have not checked your skates yet. The last thing you want is a skate malfunction during a game!

ha- yeah especially becuse i dont know how to fix em!

Quad - if you're coming to manor tomorrow night you can borrow my pushers to see how much difference they make. You can *probably* borrow them on Saturday too, cos I'm planning on wearing my narrower wheels, but I don't want to say for definite just in case the floor's really weird or something.

I heartily endorse Alan's skate check, I got mine done today so hopefully they'll be in tip-top shape for the weekend.

Last time I got my skates checked the stoppers fell out while I was skating the very next day! :P

Pants. that's no good. Come in again and I'll thread lock them in to place. There should be no falling out.
