Stopper woe

Post  Mollie Cosh on Wed Sep 16, 2009 7:58 am

I am stopperless on one skate! squee

The chunky snyder stops that used to be mine are on X-Ray's old skates.. I think they're in the loan kit somewhere. Anyone know if they're being used? I'd like the stops back if possible, but will swap them for a new pair of regular Riedell stops (which I am about to order).

In the mean time, are there any loan skates nobody's using? If so can I tax a stopper off one of them for Sunday?

I have X-rays old skates which I am sneakily using. You are welcome to swop stoppers as and when. x

Hey, should've mentioned this on facebook! The old stopper can be used!! yay!

The threads are a bit beat up, but cleaned up nicely. Plus, with that check nut on there, it should hold up until a new pair gets here! The pair can be finally reunited, its tired of playing 3rd wheel with my skates.... I'll have them for you Sunday!!!

Wow, you named your skates?

My skates are now complaining that I don't see them as real people. And skate 1 is definitely pining for skate 2. I hear it crying at night. cries cries cries

Yeah i thought if i named them after awesome skaters then they might get imbued with special powers! I love them very much and they always sleep at the end of my bed but sometimes they are naughty and get in with me! If one does i get worried about the other one getting lonely so then they both hog the bed and dent me a bit but i don't mind because i love them so much! ho ho
